Here is the story of the Goatheads. In 1997 two guys decided to take their motorcycles for a weekend ride. A day later, a third joined in. The three of them had so much fun! They told their friends of the good time and decided to do it again in six months. By the next run they had doubled in size. Joking around one day, they came up with the name "Goatheads" for the group. They have been taking there ride twice a year since. There are more than forty in the group now. They are not a club or an organization, if you ask they describe themselves as a social group with a motorcycle problem.
Even though we are not a club or organization we try and support the local motorcycle clubs around us, like the RiverRiders M/C, the Desert Road Riders M/C the Choir Boys M/C, etc. We enjoy all of there runs and fund raisers.
This bunch of guys love to ride there Harleys, they have ridden thousands of miles and have made many memmorable trips on there bikes. Countless trips to Sturgis and a unforgetable group trip to New Orleans. Several trips to Hollister and Northern California just to name a few.
